Khumba couture is a clothing brand that was established in 2020 by founder Halina Khumba.
It is founded and established in East Africa Uganda 🇺🇬 Kampala and has been operating for 5years.

Khumba couture is founded by a Female citizen of Uganda known as Halina Khumba
ABOUT KHUMBA COUTURE
In 2020, Khumba couture was not originally known as Khumba couture but referred to as Khumba clothing. This was because by then in 2020 Khumba was producing clothes under the label of Khumba but not officially manufacturing its own products. Some of these clothes are to be shown as below in photos.
CHANGE IN 2021.
In 2021, Khumba couture made a change in its design and appearance of its clothes. The shirts were given a new logo to give the couture meaning towards its motto “Keep moving forward “
THE AWAKENING.
The change.
In 2024, we noticed that the market had the same product selling country wide and so we decided to create something unique and different from what was on sale. Change was necessary in order to keep our brand thriving and unique from other brands on the market.
Khumba as a brand itself decided to change into a couture and that is when Khumba clothing became Khumba Couture.
By the beginning of 2025, Khumba had started producing its first Couture.
THE DRAGON SCALE’S COLLECTION
The Dragon scale’s collection was one of the most thrilling and exciting unique design produced by KhumbaCouture. It was referred to as The Dragon 🐉 scale’s collection because of its unique design of the material and fabric. The material is heavy and durable to withstand all kinds of 🌦️ weather .

NOMINATIONS AND AWARDS 🏆.
Khumba Couture started engaging into International Nominations across East Africa in 2025. She started with the Afriglo_ awards that were held at the Emin Pasha Hotel in Uganda 🇺🇬. These nominations were not easy and Khumba Couture never managed to get an award but managed to be recognised as a nominee for Entrepreneur of the Year 2025.
After a failure to get an award af the Afriglo awards, Khumba Couture did not give up but instead this motivated the brand to keep moving forward and keep thriving. These efforts finally came to notice and Khumba Couture was invited to attend the She awards that took place in Kenya 🇰🇪.
Khumba Couture managed to win 🏆 the SheAwards representing Uganda 🇺🇬 in first place as the Fashionprenuer of the Year 2025.
